Privacy overview

This is starter text for the instance operator to replace with a real privacy policy before going live. It describes what this application itself stores in your browser and which third-party services it may contact.

What this app stores in your browser

Only storage that is strictly necessary to run the app — no advertising or analytics trackers, so no consent banner is shown.

• Auth session: an HTTP-only session cookie that keeps you logged in.
• View preference: a cookie ("workspaces-view") remembering list vs. grid view.
• Colour mode: your light/dark theme choice, kept on this device only.
• Language: your chosen interface language.

Third-party services

The following services are only contacted if the instance operator has switched on the corresponding optional feature:

• Geocoding: OpenStreetMap Nominatim, to turn a location into a place name.
• Weather: Open-Meteo, to show historical weather for a location and time.
• Map tiles: OpenFreeMap by default, or another provider the operator has configured.
